[OSR Challenge] Silly Rabbit, Trixx'ar 4quits.

Silly Rabbit, Trixx'ar 4quits: A Get Ready, Get Set, Go! A Gamma World 1e adventure set in the Rust Belt.

Get Ready:

The Charactors find themselves in the middle of a conflict between a tribe of Hoops and a village on the edge of the Wasteland.

Get Set:

The party stops in the village of T’Leedo, on the edge of the Eerie Wasteland. They find that the village is preparing for a siege. A tribe of Hoops is coming because they have heard that the village has gotten one of the ancient manufacturing buildings up and running. The village elder, a Mutant Finch, has offered the PCs many domars and some piece of old technology as payment for finding the Hoop tribe and killing their leader. Barring that, they should get as much intelligence about the tribe as they can that can be used to in some way defeat the Hoops.

Go!:

When the PCs go North, to Old Detroit, they will eventually find the camp of the Hoop Tribe. They have rallied 200 strong. If they PCs look hard enough, they might be able to find the Hoops’ charismatic leader. If they were to kill him than the tribe would disperse. The best way of doing so would be to challenge the leader to single combat and win. There are many other ways of completing this task that might present itself.
As for intelligence, the one important piece of information that might help is why the Hoops are doing what they are doing. It seems that they lack the technical understanding of machinery (something to do with their ability to turn metal into rubber) to be able to refurbish the Old Detroit manufacturing plants. They plan on enslaving the engineers from T’Leedo to do so, and the rest to work in the factories to make rubber coated weapons so they can bring the entire Rust Belt under their sway.

Notable NPCs:
Trixx’ar 4quits--- Hoop Leader
Armour Class: 5 (Scale Mail made of steel covered in vulcanized rubber)
HD:18 HP: 79 Mutations: Mass Mind, Telepathy and Metal transmutation as
Hoop. Weapons: Large Rubber Maul, laser pistol made of high density composite.

  1. This is great stuff! The Hoops have always been a favorite mutant from Gamma World and you've done a great job making this a lot of fun. Especially liked the T'leedo on the edge of the Eerie WastelandM. Nice touch!

  2. Yay! I was hoping, however, that this was a TMNT adventure.

  3. Well, if you want to use it for TMNT it would be a very simple thing to convert. That's the nice thing about the dearth of "systemy" material.
